You are invited to come and visit us at our new yoga studio in Mineville, tucked away on the peaceful shore of Lake Echo just 10 minutes from Dartmouth. Relax and take in the scenery while you enjoy some refreshments.

Have your questions answered about yoga and see what class would best meet your needs. Look through our photo album and talk to some of our students.

Fees

$9 per class drop-in fee
Maximum of 15 - no registration required for summer posture flows.

Workshops

Various workshops to target specific needs and interests will be offered throughout the year.
Students will learn how to modify yoga postures to meet their own specific needs in a regular yoga class .

Pre-natal / Post-natal ; Back Care ; Yoga for Fuller Bodies

Yoga for Kids: $54/6 classes
*Seniors (65yrs+) and Students (university/college) discount:
1 free class per session

All fees are to be paid in full by the first class.

  • Arrive 10 minutes before class begins to quietly select a spot and to set up your mat.
  • Please park on the road or in the driveway and walk down the path to the studio.
  • All new students/parents will be asked to sign a waiver.

 

Materials Needed

  • Comfortable clothing : short sleeve t-shirt, leggings or yoga pants or long style shorts, light weight jacket or sweater
  • Yoga mat: costs can vary beginning at $15 at Winners and Superstore
  • Small pillow or bolster
  • 2 yoga blocks
  • 1 tie or strap or scarf
  • A small blanket or throw
  • An open mind!

There are some ties, blocks and bolsters in the studio but you may prefer to use your own in class as well as for home practice.

Yoga is best performed in bare feet for optimal traction to prevent slipping. Non-skid socks may be an option for some.
